英國時裝協會與 Burberry 和 Paul Smith 合作釋出資金，幫助在地設計師度過疫情難關

面對這個嚴峻的時刻，人人都要共體時艱，時尚界做為受疫情影響甚鉅的產業之一，不少品牌及組織皆不遺餘力的貢獻一己之力，像是英國時裝協會（British Fashion Council）就於日前公佈了旗下基金會時尚基金（BFC Foundation Fashion Fund）的資助名單，所撥出的資助金額大約有一百萬英鎊，希望以實際行動支持受疫情影響的設計師和企業們。

BFC introduces today the BFC Foundation Covid Crisis Fund by exceptionally pooling its talent initiative schemes BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund supported by JD.COM, INC, BFC Fashion Trust and NEWGEN. Through its charity the BFC Foundation, BFC will make £1,000,000 of emergency funds available with the majority supporting designer businesses and through reserves from its Education Foundation, a portion of the funds allocated to students, underpinning the future generation of creative talent. #PositiveFashion #BFCFoundationCovidCrisisFund

這次的資助基金有絕大部分來自 Browns、Burberry 和 Paul Smith 的捐贈，總共將會幫助到37個英國品牌繼續生存。此外，部分資金也會分配給相關科系的學生，以延續英國時裝協會對英國設計師和創意工作者的支持與承諾。

Paul’s admiration for Anni Albers can be traced back to the very start of his career. After a serious accident ended his ambitions of becoming a racing cyclist, Paul spent several weeks recovering in hospital. There he met students from the local art school, who opened his eyes to a whole new world of creativity. "One thing they taught me about was something called 'the Bauhaus’", he says, "which was totally new to me. My fashion career can be traced back to those early discussions with the art students about the Bauhaus, about Albers and about so much more besides” Since then Paul has drawn on Anni and other members of the Bauhaus School as inpirations and this even culminated in a knitwear collaboration with the @albers_foundation in the autumn of 2018. #FindInspirationInEverything today on our Instagram Stories. #PaulSmith #design #art #annialbers #bauhaus

「在過去幾周裡我們收到了數量驚人、來自英國各地的設計師及企業所提交的申請，以尋求幫助、度過危機。」英國時裝協會的執行長 Caroline Rush 在新聞稿中說道：「這些尋求支持的需求是非常巨大的，因此我們希望透過重新規劃基金方向，來幫盡可能地幫助更多企業，以確保未來英國時尚產業的成長及成功。」

目前共有37個英國品牌成功申請到這項補助，除了幾個較知名的牌子像是 Craig Green、Phoebe English、Richard Quinn、ROKSANDA 外，還包括許多在地小眾及獨立設計師品牌（完整名單請看下方 IG 貼文）。某些申請但尚未入選的設計師及品牌也別擔心，未來還會公布新一輪的資助計劃，英國政府也會陸續釋出更多方案，以提供給受疫情影響的小型企業來運用。
