作為 Lee Alexander McQueen 師妹及真正傳人，Sarah Burton 於 1996 年加入品牌，並在 2010 年 McQueen 逝世後接任創意總監，在品牌待了 26 年之久，更單獨執掌品牌長達 13 年，因此去年傳出離開時，才會有許多人感到惋惜不已，也讓人好奇她的下一步走向。
Sarah Burton 確定加入 Givenchy
終於在今天傳來好消息，Sarah Burton 確定加入 Givenchy 擔任新任創意總監，同樣是 Lee Alexander McQueen 執掌過的品牌，過往在 1996 年至 2001 年間，Sarah Burton 也曾在該品牌內部工作過，因此今回上任，也是合情合理，且還頗具有傳承意味。
Sarah Burton 是繼 Clare Waight Keller 後第二位擔任此一職位的女性時裝設計師，也是該品牌的第 8 位創意總監，未來將交出怎樣的成績單，實在令人非常期待。
翻閱 Sarah Burton 的資歷，除了作為 Alexander McQueen 的美學掌門人外，更曾在 2001 年為 Kate Middleton 設計婚紗，她的設計在繼承了 Lee 的離經叛道外，又帶著濃厚英式優雅氣息，是所有女人一生都渴望穿上一次的夢幻之作。
據聞，Sarah Burton 加入 Givenchy 後的第一個系列將於 2025 年 3 月在巴黎時裝周上亮相，在揮別 Matthew M. Williams 後，Givenchy 將呈現怎樣的樣貌呢？拭目以待。
